The Awards ceremony celebrates the highest standards of workmanship, design, visual appeal, innovation and environmental sustainability of the HIA Victorian home builders.
The Envirotouch switch range sponsored the GreenSmart Energy Efficiency category, while Heatstrip® was a proud sponsor of the Outdoor Kitchen Design award. Also, the addition of Bliss LED lighting products on each table, gave a sense of style and elegance for such a gala event at the Crown Casino.
Ecoliv Buildings won the Envirotouch GreenSmart Energy Efficiency category with a modular home set in regional Victoria. Comprised of two prefabricated modules, the home pushes the boundaries of standard domestic construction to achieve cost, time and resource efficiencies. The result is affordable off-the-grid living.
Hargreaves Joinery won the Heatstrip® Outdoor Kitchen category, by designing a functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor kitchen, that showcases an innovative use of materials. Alifrost aluminium framed doors with UV resistant acrylic panels provide a depth of colour, whilst ensuring the joinery will not suffer from exposure to the elements in years to come. Laminex PV LITE Panel cabinet construction provides the practicality, water resistance and easy to clean properties required for such a project.
