Thermofilm Heatstrip® was proud to recently donate several Heatstrip® heaters to the Channel 9 AFL Footy Show “Tough Love” segment.
This is a regular segment where the “Footy Show” selects a well deserving volunteer of a local football club and undertakes a $10,000 makeover of their house, with help from Footy Show regulars Garry Lyon, Bill Brownless and Shane Crawford.
In this edition, it was Mick Olsen (and his wife Anne). Mick lives in Drouin, Victoria and is a stalwart of the Drouin Football Club. He recently had a stroke and the Drouin Football Club nominated him for the “Tough Love” makeover. The make-over was of his outdoor entertaining area, and the Heatstrip®s were installed above a new outdoor lounge.
Mick commented “these heaters have helped to make our back patio an enjoyable place for us, as well as our family and friends. We will really be more cosy out there with your heaters”.
Thermofilm are proud to support a great cause and someone that dedicates themselves to the local community.
