Thermofilm greatly appreciates the hard and wonderful work of all the dedicated SES volunteers, who give up their time to assist and protect the community in times of emergency, this is in line with the Thermofilm & SES core values of commitment, integrity and community focus.
Our donation of Heatstrip Max heaters assists the Kilmore SES to operate in the large training room facility by providing a more comfortable heat in the cooler Victorian weather.
Frank Roberts, Unit Controller. ‘These heaters will allow our members to train out of the weather. Our volunteer members place themselves in the elements every time they attend an incident, be it for Road Accidents, Storm and Flood, Building Damage and Trees down on roads, so any option to protect our Volunteers during training is a bonus’
Scott Davis, Deputy Controller of Operations. ‘The volunteers of the Kilmore SES greatly appreciate this donation from Thermofilm. The range appealed to the unit due to the resilience of the heating units and heating ability for large areas. When we are performing in this area we have no risk of breaking the Heaters as they are all metal construction, so no risk of glass elements breaking if they are impacted. Our members are now able to train comfortably all year round’.
